What do/would you charge for babysitting infant?

I'm a licensed provider, & I live in a smaller town, so my rates may vary from the rates where you live, but I charge $20-25/day depending on how many hours I have the child. Since you're not licensed, $15-20/day is fair. Daycare providers get paid less than minimum wage - usually an average of $2-4/hr. If we got paid minimum wage, no one could afford to work & put their child in daycare because a lot of people only get paid minimum wage. If you tried charging me minimum wage, I'd think you were really inexperienced.
