What do I do when I find my stolen skateboard?

So I was riding around, when I left it on my lawn and it disappeared soon after, and I just got enough money for an upgrade too! Even though it was a blank it had Destructo trucks and Bone Swiss bearings :( if I do find the perpetrator what do I do? Just push them off and take it back? Or get the law? I don't know what to do! I'm suspecting these teens that ding dong ditch and ride around our community. Even though I,m a teen I wouldn,t do anything like that! Thanks
