Should I shave my matted Wooly Siberian Husky?

I just adopted a Wooly Siberian Husky from a private Husky rescuer. The previous family neglected this dog and didn't provide the proper amount of exercise/training that this dog requires. He is a 5 year old male and his inner coat is matted everywhere. It's summer now and I am very worried about him not being able to cool himself down because of the poor condition of his inner coat. I went to a very reputable groomer and they recommended me to do a shave down. I know in general that you're not suppose to shave a Husky but would my dog's current condition make this an exception? I've tried combing it but its almost next to impossible because it's matted extremely bad. I even have trouble digging my finger through it to his skin. Also, the groomer said when they shave it, they also have the opportunity to remove any ticks or bugs latched onto his skin/hair. Please keep in mind I have a Wooly Siberian Husky which means he has a longer coat compared to regulars Sibes.

Is this good for skateboarding 1.5yrs?

Why would you post this here? Your obviously skating for the wrong reasons. Skate for fun, don't care what other people think about it, and if sponsors and **** happen then that's rad, but don't come on here fishing for complements.

Where were you when you found out about the terror attacks almsot 10 yrs ago?

I was about to get on a train and head to school but the trains were closed to the city and everywhere, which was weirrrrd.. I'd slept over a friend's house and the neighborhood was kind of like a pure Chinatown.. So Idk I cant remember if anyone was talking about it, there mightve just been silence, but the way I found out was cuz I stepped into a coffee shop and everyone was looking at the tv, I looked up and saw the footage and it was so weird, I just started cryin.. The next day I went to school, there was dust in the air.. It felt kinda surreal and like people were connecting or healing.

Learn to skateboard, what to start with?

I'm an 18 yr old girl, and I've always wanted to learn to skateboard but never got around to it. I mainly just want a faster way to get around campus this fall, and I'm not interested in tricks right now, but what should I start with? Like what kind of board, shoes, equipment, etc. and where to get them? I don't have much money, so I'm just looking for essentials right now. Thanks so much for any help.

Help on disney movie name?

I really believe it was the rescuers, but it's not. I think it was a disney movie but here's what I know. This boy mouse and some of his friends were on a mission to find this guy mouse scientist that was kidnapped. Um..all I remember was there was a scene when they were on a clock tower, and it was raining. Erm..made in either the 80's or 90's. I haven't seen it in 10 years, and well..I'd really like to know the name of it
