I don't see that the outcome will get you the land. usually, when the owner of a piece of land cant be traced, it goes into the hands of the local council, and all local councils are made up from greed fuelled businessmen who will find a way to.....procure it cheaply from public ownership..councillors are like vultures. Seems to me that you will put in a lot of time money and effort just to make someone El's a good profit. I would keep quiet and carry on using it until it is reclaimed.
